SPEAKER: Jennifer Garvey Berger
People bemoan the shortage of real wisdom in organizations, noting that the very best people are in high demand in every field. In this talk, Jennifer offers three key habits of mind anyone can develop that will not only help get work done, but will actually grow the capacities organizations need.
Jennifer coaches, runs transformational leadership development programs, and writes extensively about the connection between adult development and coaching. She teaches advanced courses for coaches around the world, and creates leadership programs designed to support organization-wide changes. Her new book, Changing on the Job: Developing Leaders for a Complex World, argues for a more thoughtful approach to growing wisdom in organizations.
Jennifer has a master’s and a doctorate from Harvard University. In 2006 Jennifer learned about transformation in a whole new way when she and her family moved to New Zealand, where she can work on her leadership development practice and also walk on the beach each day.
