Nick Hawkins leads a team of subject matter experts specifically tasked with consulting to Polycom's key customers and partners within the Asia Pacific region to meet their solutions needs. Nick is often nominated to be a strategic partner on new core developments that benefit our customers globally.

Nick is key to identifying new developments in technology across APAC and how these trends impact on the development of Polycom's core technologies and solutions.

He has been in senior roles in Polycom for nine years, six years of which in APAC and previously held the role of Director of Service Providers – APAC, where he played an integral role in driving new business with leading Service Providers in mature and emerging markets across the region. Prior to that, he held the position of Director, Pre-Sales Engineering – APAC, where he was focused on improving the responsiveness and effectiveness of the pre-sales engineering function regionally.

During his 20+ years in the communications technology industry, he has also served as Technical Marketing Director at VideoServer (now Ezenia). His career background also includes a number of technical and marketing les in high-profile networking and communications companies including British Telecom and UB Networks.
